Autologous fat liposuction and lipofilling for a wealth of indications

Not only in the operative lipedema treatment: the WAL procedure has proven to be extremely flexible – for example in plastic surgery, in the regenerative medicine and in dermatology. Read our informations for physicians / surgeons:

In hydrodissection (water-jet assisted dissection), the soft tissue is gently separated or removed by the water-jet device. The medical devices of Human Med in combination with the WAL methodology ensure a high degree of tissue selectivity with efficient dissection and hardly existing collateral damage.

With WAL, the highly effective three-dimensional water jet removes the adipose tissue in a fast and atraumatic manner without damaging the surrounding tissue. For this reason, with WAL patients will be largely spared painful haematomas. Besides body contouring can be excellently controlled intraoperatively without any alteration of the anatomy in contrast to the traditional tumescence techniques.

If compared to conventional techniques a significant lower amount of residual water and drugs remains in the patient’s body.

During the removal process of the adipose tissue from the tissue structure blood and lymphatic vessels and nerves remain largely unscathed.

MRI-controlled studies have shown that due to the extremely high vitality, around 90%, of the harvested adipose cells, up to 87% of the re-injected adipose can settle in the host tissue, for example in the breast area.

WAL: Unique and atraumatic

The only procedure worldwide that allows, during surgery, the administration of analgesics and vasoconstrictive agents through the active water jet. This aspect enables even hours of surgery, for example lipedema, without interruptions; this is why WAL has been increasingly first choice for a wide range of indications.

Scientifically proven

Numerous studies and publications on the WAL methodology have been issued to date – and many more are currently being created. A small excerpt.

Our products

Leading-edge technology using the unique and progressive, gentle power of the water-jet.

The technique

Hydrodissection

With hydrodissection (water-jet assisted dissection)
the soft tissue is separated or removed using the gentle force of the water-jet.

The procedures

During the hydrodissection (water-jet assisted dissection) the waterjet-assisted Liposuction (WAL) and the AquaShape® procedure are being used.
