In summer 2017 we started the construction works of our annex. After having already bought a plot that is expanding to 6000 m² – including an option for further 4000 m² – in direct proximity in 2016, we obtained the planning permission in June 2017 and immediately started the building measures. In collaboration with a general contractor for hall constructions from Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and a general contractor for cleanrooms from Baden-Württemberg a building with a total area of about 1000 m² will be put up.
Approximately half of this area will be taken by our new cleanroom where we will manufacture our sterile products in the future, pursuant to the latest GMP industry standards. With a ca. 500 m² gross cleanroom area we are doubling our present capacities. In addition, personnel facilities and separated departments for incoming and outgoing goods with extra storage capacities will be installed. The building measures will presumably be completed in March 2018. After qualification and auditing we expect to start operations there in May/June 2018.
This project is subsidized by considerable means from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Together we strengthen the economic power of our company, we safeguard existing jobs and we lay the foundations for further expansion.
